Data

QC Results can both import and export data.

Import

Data can be imported in a vast number of ways and formats. Here are some of the supported methods:

• EDI
• Database Tables
• Spreadsheets
• CSV or Delimited Files
• Event Engine Jobs
• FTP/SFTP
• Email

Data can be imported using the Coolearth EDI tools. Data files are read into the system, and the data is then available to QC Results.

This allows you to import information from third parties, in the form of tab delimited or XML files.

Export

Exporting data is done through the table maintenance window. After using the filters to select the data you wish to export, you can select the Table Maintenance Tools tab at the top of the screen, and choose the desired export option.
