New page

[[Image:QCResultsText.PNG|center]]

QC Results is designed to run on a variety of user interfaces. The most common user interfaces used are:

*'''Web-Based browser using HTML5:''' [[Image:GX Meteor WipDashboard.PNG|thumb|300px|Web Client Example]]

This is a rather platform independent interface that allows the use of everything from a mobile to a tablet to a desktop.

So long as the device has an HTML5 compliant web browser, the client will render for use.

There are also options to pre-package the client with a Chrome engine so that one-off or isolated installations can be maintained.

*'''WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation):'''

This is the desktop platform. The QC Results client is launched and run from inside the Coolearth Whistle Studio.

It can run on machines with Windows XP/2003 or greater and the .Net Framework 4.5+ installed. Most of the screenshot s contained within this document comes from the WPF client.

*'''Windows Mobile 6.1 (Compact Framework):'''

This is a handheld platform. Any handheld device running Windows Mobile 6.1 or greater and the .Net Compact Framework 3.5 can run the handheld client.

==Logging In and Accessing the System==

There are options when logging into the client system for authentication:

* Domain Authentication / LDAP
* ERP user authentication
* Whistle/QC Results native authentication

There are also solutions available to login using keycard, NFC, fob, barcode scan and other personnel identification methods.
