Windows Domain Authentication & LDAP

Whistle Studio and QC Results clients are capable of using Windows Domain Authentication and LDAP to validate user and security to obtain context from the host application.

A user with a domain account can be assigned appropriate privileges to access the host client, server and underlying database to perform transactions operations. These include both passive (running a report) and active (collecting data).

The host application maintains its own permissions context. See the User Configuration page.
